SMS Terms & Conditions

How you join. The contact form on our Contact page has one optional, unchecked box. If you check it, you agree that My Realty Company, Inc. may text you at the phone number you entered about that inquiry. If you text us or one of our agents first, we may reply by text in that conversation.

What we send. Replies to your inquiry, appointment and showing details, and follow-up questions about that inquiry. We do not send marketing or promotional texts under this program. Message frequency varies with your conversation.

Optional. Checking the box is never required to send the form, and consent to receive text messages is never a condition of buying any property or service from us. Our other website forms have no text-message checkboxes: giving us your phone number on them, or submitting them, does not sign you up for text messages and is not consent to receive them. We reply to those by phone or email.

Status. Our text messaging service is not active yet. Until it starts, we reply by phone or email, even if you checked the box.

So we can show what you agreed to, we keep a record of the exact wording you saw, whether you checked the box, the date and time, the page, the phone number, your IP address and your browser type. If you did not check the box, we record that too, and we will not text you under this program.

These Terms cover real estate communications from My Realty Company, Inc. (DRE #02161424) only. Mortgage services are provided by My Realty Company, Inc. dba My Mortgage Company (NMLS #2263210) through mymtgco.com, under its own privacy policy and SMS terms. Real estate and mortgage text messaging are separate programs, each with its own consent; consent to one does not cover the other. Mortgage text messaging is not active.

We also honor STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE and OPTOUT, and any other reasonable request to stop, including by email or phone. After you opt out you may receive one message confirming it, and we will not text you again under this program unless you later give new express consent.

Message and data rates may apply to any text message you send or receive. We do not charge for text messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard messaging rates apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.

Your phone number and records of our communications are kept as business records, and opt-out requests are kept so we can continue to honor them. For complete details, including retention, see our Privacy Policy.

Carriers, including T-Mobile, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages, and are not responsible for the content of our messages. Message delivery depends on your wireless carrier and network availability.

We may update these SMS Terms & Conditions. Changes are shown by the “Last Updated” date above. A change to these Terms is never, by itself, consent to receive text messages, and we will ask for new consent before sending any new type of message.
